1. Who is MyCareerByDesign™ for?
MyCareerByDesign™ is designed for mid- to late-career healthcare and medical imaging professionals who feel ready for growth, change, or deeper alignment. Most clients are experienced clinicians, leaders, or technical experts who want clarity before making a strategic move. If you are early in your career or looking for job placement services, this may not be the right fit.
2. Is this career coaching?
Sometimes.
Career coaching is one pathway. Strategic career design is another. Coaching focuses on mindset, clarity, and confidence. Strategic design focuses on structured repositioning and long-term direction. We determine the right path during your Clarity Conversation.

3. Do you help with résumé writing or LinkedIn optimization?
Résumé and positioning strategy may be addressed within a broader conversation. However, this is not a résumé-writing service. The focus is deeper: clarity, alignment, and strategic movement. A résumé is a tool. Clarity and strategy come first.

4. Do you help people leave clinical practice?
Sometimes. But the goal is not to “escape.” The goal is alignment. Some clients redesign within clinical roles.
Some transition into leadership, consulting, industry, education, or advisory positions. The direction depends on your strengths, values, and season of life.

5. How long does the process take?
It depends on what you need. Digital programs move at your own pace. Guided engagements vary depending on the depth of strategy required. This work is structured and intentional. It is neither rushed nor indefinite.

6. What makes this different from generic career coaching?
Healthcare careers are complex. Clinical training, licensure, leadership pathways, burnout, identity, compensation structures, and professional culture all shape decision-making. This work is grounded in lived healthcare experience and workforce insight. It is not built on generic career advice.

That’s exactly why this exists. Many clients begin with uncertainty. The assessment and Clarity Conversation are designed to bring structure to that uncertainty. You do not need to have the answers before you begin.

No. No ethical professional can guarantee outcomes. What I provide is structure, perspective, and strategic guidance.
