I am Dr. Onyeka Abengowe, Founder and Career Transformation Coach @ My Career By Design™.​ After over two decades of a career in healthcare as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Imaging Consultant, I found myself at a crossroads. The career that once defined me and gave me purpose and pride no longer felt like my destination. It was time for a new chapter. But I had no clue what that chapter would be like. The search for answers was overwhelming. There was an abundance of "expert" advice, promising clarity through a sea of tips and strategies. But none of it resonated. These so-called solutions were rich in how to do things, but none addressed the most important question: How do I identify what is truly for me in this season of my life?

 

I wasn’t looking for a one-size-fits-all formula. I needed guidance to uncover my unique calling that would ignite my passion and purpose.

• WHO am I now?  

• WHY do I want a change? 

• WHAT do I want?  

 

This clarity changed everything and led me to redefine success as a four-piece pie.

The first three pieces - WHO, WHY, and WHAT constitute 75% of the equation.

The HOW? It’s only 25%. Yet most people jump straight to the HOW, chasing strategies and tactics without first discovering their true purpose.

That’s why so many feel stuck and unfulfilled.
